HOW IT'S MADE

From Idea to Your Door

Every piece passes through four hands and four stages. This is how we make it.

STEP 01
Design
Every part begins with careful measurement of the original. The designer recreates each piece in CAD, refining the geometry until it fits a Classic Mini perfectly.

STEP 02
Print
High-precision 3D printers build each part layer by layer. We use heat-resistant ABS for parts that live inside a hot Mini cabin, and refined PLA for scale models.
STEP 03
Hand-Finish
Each piece is hand-sanded, primed, and finished by the family craftsman, drawing on years of precision handwork.

OUR STORY

A Family and Their Minis

N LAB WORKS is a small family workshop in Japan, making parts and models for the Classic Mini.

The designer has driven a Morris Mini Cooper S Mk1 for over 20 years, and designs each part using CAD and 3D printing.

The craftsman used to drive a Morris Mini Cooper S Mk2, and handles the painting and finishing, drawing on years of hands-on experience.

Orders are packed and shipped from Japan to Classic Mini owners around the world.
